Newport, RI (October 11, 2019) – Newport Harbor Corporation (NHC), a Rhode Island-based hospitality company, has announced that it has officially rebranded as Newport Restaurant Group. The name change comes with NHC’s successful conversion to a 100% employee-owned hospitality company.
“As NHC has evolved into an employee-owned company, we felt that now is the appropriate time to migrate our consumer-facing brand to the name that our patrons most identify with, Newport Restaurant Group,” said Casey Riley, Chief Operating Officer. “With a portfolio of more than ten unique restaurant concepts, the name Newport Harbor Corporation has become less relevant to our organization.”
Newport Restaurant Group owns and/or operates restaurant and hospitality brands across Rhode Island and Massachusetts including Castle Hill Inn, The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar, 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille, Smoke House and Bar ‘Cino all located in Newport; Trio in Narragansett; the Boat House in Tiverton; Waterman Grille and Hemenway’s, both located in Providence; Avvio Ristorante located at Garden City Center in Cranston; and Papa Razzi in Wellesley and Concord, Massachusetts.
Newport Restaurant Group’s mission is to provide the highest quality culinary experience in unique, service-oriented atmospheres and to create each menu with a creative, thoughtful, and responsible approach. Newport Restaurant Group is proudly 100% employee-owned.
