RHODE ISLAND QUAHOG WEEK - March 20-25, 2017

Seven Newport Restaurant Group locations are celebrating Rhode Island’s 2nd annual Quahog Week, a statewide collaboration highlighting the importance of Rhode Island’s wild harvest shellfish to our state’s history, traditions and economy.

Be sure to join us March 20-25th at the following Newport Restaurant Group locations to enjoy scrumptious chef specialties inspired by this endeared native bivalve.

The Mooring:
Quahog Casino’s - $15

3 quahogs made with Chopped local clams, Applewood Bacon, spiced bread crumbs

22 Bowen's:
Local Quahog Fritters - $14

Smoked pork belly, potato soubise, celery, lemon remoulade

Boat House:
Baked Quahogs - $10

3 baked quahogs with miso-clam butter with Jeffrey's greens and sweet onion vinaigrette

Hemenway's:
Hemenway’s Stuffies - $15

3 stuffies made with local Chorizo, torn sweet breads, malt vinegar reduction

Avvio Ristorante:
Focaccia Stuffies - $10

2 local quahogs, focaccia stuffing, sweet Italian sausage, red pepper, garlic

Quahog clam and chorizo broth - $15
